Inventory Accounting Software Consultant

Our Software Consulting group is a highly sought-after resource among Blue clients. They come to us with needs for accounting system upgrades, implementations, evaluations, and troubleshooting. We focus on QuickBooks but work with other software systems as well.

As an Accounting Software Consultant, you will work closely with the Leader of the group on a wide variety of client engagements, including software system evaluations and recommendations, system implementations and conversions, workflow analysis, system testing, data conversions, and troubleshooting. You will also be involved in all aspects of the client engagement, including engagements with our larger clients.

Requirements

• Demonstrated deep knowledge of QuickBooks, familiarity with QuickBooks add-on software systems, and a thorough knowledge of accounting system process flows (standard cost knowledge is a plus)
• Have experience with multiple accounting software applications, which utilize inventory, and accounting software conversions
• Proficient with researching and testing of potential accounting software applications
• Accounting experience with multiple industries, or deep experience in manufacturing
• Desire to continually learn new software applications and can effectively train others
• Desire to travel and work on clients’ sites 25% of the time
• Passion for helping clients choose best solutions

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years experience with accounting software systems
